The Praxis Ideation Challenge welcomes participants to participate in program workshops, engage in competitions, and apply for mentored internship opportunities.
The Praxis Ideation Challenge at-a-glance
Participate in six engaging workshops led by expert facilitators from across Canada. Learn the basics from understanding innovation to implementing prototypes. Participate in all six to receive the IDEATION.CLINIC Certificate.
Submit a short video pitch and a written concept pitch application by April 5, 2021 for a chance to participate in our live competitions. Prizes are worth up to $25,000.

Top participants may be eligible for an internship with one of our partners to further develop their idea. Apply for an internship by April 5, 2021.

Who should join?
The Challenge welcomes individual participants who want to make a positive impact on the lives of people living with SCI or those caring for them. The Challenge is open to the public and welcomes people from any background, sector and level of experience.
Do I need a team?
No. The Challenge welcomes individual participants or teams of participants. You will be asked to indicate whether you are joining as a team or an individual when registering.
Do I need an idea?
Yes. To participate in the Challenge, you will need an idea by the submission for the Challenge on April 5, 2021. Challenge Participants who do not have an idea at that time are still welcome to attend events and workshops.
What type of idea do I need?
We welcome any idea that addresses improvements to the quality of life for people living with SCI. Including, direct complications and secondary complications. This may include a treatment, procedure, device, widget, app, or any other innovation.
When should I join?
Challenge Participants are encouraged to join before the first workshop on March 15. 2021. Any registrations after April 5th, 2021 will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
